Influenced by her work as an interior designer, Nancy’s creative expression turned to oil painting. Inspired by the work of Van Gogh and Cezanne, she paints in a loose impasto style, utilizing both the brush and palette knife to create depth and emotion. This gives her the freedom to mix colors directly on the canvas, producing paintings that are rich in vivid color and texture.

Her work has been shown in Atlanta, Georgia at Anne Irwin Fine Art, Webb-Marsteller, the Atlanta Artist’s Center, Trinity School’s Spotlight on Art, and the Wesleyan Artist Market. She has also exhibited in New York City as well as the Bascom Center for the Arts in Highlands, NC.

Nancy studied in New York City at the Art Student’s League and the National Academy of Art. In Atlanta, Georgia she studied at the Art School in Sandy Springs.
